Now...my earliest recollection of wrestling down under was the
oldie's talking about
Chief Little Wolf and "Dirty" Dick Raines and place's called Leichardt
Stadium or
the Sydney Stadium, now me being the young fella that I am, I could
only imagine a crowded Sydney Stadium and The Chief applying the now famous
Indian deathlock to some poor bloke.
What I can remember is sitting in front of the t.v on Saturdays
and Sundays(right beforethe Roller derby, but thats another story) to watch
the guys i remember going about their business...guys like Mario Milano,
Spiros Arion, King Curtis,
Mark Lewin, Killer Kowalski with commentating done by Jack Little,
Sam Menacker or Athol Layton......and all the blokes pictured below I aint
got room to mention...:)
Lets talk angle's for a second......the most distinct angle that
comes to mind was the
People's Army vs Big
Bad John's Army
the guys involved in this angle were, if my memory serve's, Killer
Karl Cox, Mark Lewin, Sheik Waddi Ayoub, King Curtis, Spiros Arion, Big
Bad John, Abdullah The Butcher, Bulldog Brower
and..ummmm... i dunno , if anyone remembers gimme a yell and tell
us....O.K
